Security Control Room Operator

We are currently seeking several motivated people for Control Room Operator (CRO) positions at a high profile corporate location in the Sydney CBD. CRO’s report directly to Site Security Managers, whilst liaising with client representatives, stakeholders and emergency services. As a CRO you will be required to multitask a high volume of requests and manage multiple security scenarios in real time.

Our busy control rooms operate 24 hours, seven days per week and are located close to public transport hubs. A minimum twelve months CRO specific experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively via radio, phone and email
  • Effectively use computer systems for CCTV monitoring, access control and operational reports
  • Multitask and prioritise workloads to meet operational requirements
  • Ensure operational duties are completed effectively, on time and according to operation requirements.
  • Complete End of Shift reports, incident reports and other operational reports.

 Essential Criteria

  • Security License (NSW 1AC)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • First Aid certificate
  • Work rights supporting permanent full time employment
  • Availability to work rotating day and night 12 hour shifts
  • Intermediate MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook application skills
  • Experience working with CCTV
  • Fire indicator panel and access control systems (well regarded, but not essential).
